About Velos Design

VELOS design is a product and transport design consultancy offering a broad variety of services in the field of design. VELOS has a wide range portfolio, offering services from concept design up to design for production as well as engineering services and construction in certain projects through its strong partnership with other companies in those fields.  Our services extend from sketching and illustration, ergonomic and feasibility studies up to data delivery for production in various forms, depending the production process.

How it all started

VELOS was established in 2009 in Vienna, by Nikos Raptis and has been active in the Product and transport design field since then.

Nikos is a trained engineer and designer with extensive professional experience in the field of design.

He is a holder of BA Hons in Mining Eng (Imperial college of science technology and medicine, London, UK)

BA Hons in Transport and product design (Coventry University, UK)

Masters in Automotive and boat design (Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milano, Italy) course sponsored by Lamborghini.

Our Philosophy

In VELOS we elaborate on creating exciting and balanced designs, with a clear focus on making the difference and rising above competition and also meeting the customer’s needs and desires providing an excellent quality service that gives to our customers products  “the edge” in styling quality and usability compared to the competition, we have a variety of clients.  From exclusive private customers to big brand names in various fields of product, transport design and construction world-wide.
